in order to promote the development of icv industry in china, with the support of the ministry of industry and information technology (miit), china society of automotive engineers (china sae) and china association of automobile manufacturers (caam) established “china industry innovation alliance for the intelligent and connected vehicles (caicv) ” on june 12, 2017. miit serves as the guidance committee of the alliance. the alliance is voluntarily formed by domestic enterprises, universities, research institutes and industry organizations, comprising of more than 500 members from industries like automobile, transportation and communication. in accordance with the agreed working mechanism, the alliance focuses on policy and strategic researches, r&d of key generic technologies, standards and regulations, testing, industrialization promotion, academic exchanges and international cooperation, talent training and other related aspects. it has become an important platform to promote the development of icv industry in china.

the first icv developer conference was held in shanghai in october 2021. focusing on the generic technology in the current industrial chain such as automatic driving algorithm, vehicle technology platform, operating system and automotive chip, the conference invited industry leading experts and enterprise technology leaders to put forward insights on the development and construction of industrial innovation ecosystem in the focus field.

as a concurrent conference of the 9th international congress of intelligent and connected vehicles technology, the second icv developer conference will be held in beijing yichuang international convention and exhibition center in june 2022. this conference focuses on the new technologies, new models and new ecosystem of intelligent connected vehicles, provides space for developers from all walks of life to collide ideas, promotes cross industry exchanges and consensus formation, condenses the joint force of industry development, and supports the implementation of intelligent connected vehicles in china.

as an important national think tank in the automotive field, cicv aims to break through key common technologies and build an innovative service platform. cicv is building an ecological model of icv developer ecosystem with "problem-solving" by technology demanders and "problem-solving" by developers, and giving priority to the field of icv algorithms.

in order to continuously explore the innovative ecological path of the automotive industry, establish a basic algorithm platform shared by the industry, and open up the process link from open source algorithm to commercial application, we cooperate with industry enterprises to fully analyze the application pain points, and design two batches of icv algorithm research tasks (22 in total).we recruit algorithm developers according to the principle of "free participation, open source sharing, warehousing reward and commercial promotion", with a total bonus of 2.7 million.
