What the actors look like

Netflix released the first season of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe – a reboot of the 1980s cartoon of the same name – and the series’ cast is filled with talented and well-known voice actors. From Prince Adam and Skeletor to Teela and Man-at-Arms, most of the classic characters in the franchise are back, albeit in somewhat modified forms. These beloved characters come to life with a phenomenal voice-over set in Netflix He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Inevitably, the new He-man series will make comparisons with Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Kevin Smith’s animated sequel series to the original cartoon that premiered on Netflix earlier in 2021. The two shows are actually quite different, though: Masters of the Universe: Revelation has an art style inspired by the anime and was largely aimed at older fans of the original series, while He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 2021 is CG and is aimed almost entirely at children. Revelation had their own fantastic cast, which included Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kevin Conroy.
