Japanese Breakfast Releases Korean Version of “Be Sweet” with So!YoON! by Se So Neon.

MUMBAI: Japanese Breakfast, the music project of GRAMMY-nominated artist and New York Times bestselling author Michelle Zauner, shares a Korean-language version of her single “Be Sweet” with guest vocals from So!YoON! by Se So Neon.

“We thought it would be fun to release a special Korean version of ‘Be Sweet’ before our next performance in Seoul. I’m very grateful to Yaeji for helping me with the translation over a year ago” Zauner says, “So! YoON! is one of my favorite independent artists in Seoul right now and I’m so happy that we got to collaborate.”

Japanese Breakfast is currently on tour, dates include headline shows, festival stops at Newport Folk, Fuji Rock, Incheon Pentaport, Primavera and dates with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Florence + The Machine, Yo La Tengo, The Linda Lindas and Cate LeBon. All dates below.

Earlier this year, Zauner was named one of TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People of 2022 for its annual Time100 issue and Japanese Breakfast performed the Season 47 finale of Saturday Night Live.

Zauner’s acclaimed memoir Crying In H Mart, which she is currently adapting for the screen for MGM’s Orion Pictures, has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for 51 weeks.

Jubilee, the band’s critically acclaimed and GRAMMY-nominated album, is available now through Dead Oceans.
