It continues as elites and experimental clones traverse an ever-changing galaxy.
Action News spoke to a famous actress who voices one of the main characters.
From Disney Princess to Marvel Universe, The Mandalorian and now Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Minnawen has been inducted into the Disney Hall of Fame.
She also proudly calls herself a Pennsylvania girl with big dreams that still pinch themselves.
Twenty-three years ago, Wen became the voice of the legendary Disney Princess “Mulan”.
This was only the start of his journey.
Wen was inducted into the Disney Legends Hall of Fame and starred in “Marvel’s Agents of Shield” and “The Mandalorian”.
“Being one of the most iconic scenes with Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian only touches my heart,” Wen said.
Currently, his Mandalorian character Fennec Shand is animated in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars sequel, Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
“I can’t wait to learn more about who Fennec is,” she said. “The host also likes the fact that I got off my walk. It’s such a small thing. It surprises me.
Wen grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“I love love and I love Pennsylvania,” she adds. “I have always been a girl from Pennsylvania.”
When the live-action movie “Mulan” premiered in theaters last year, Wen made a guest appearance with her daughter Mikaela.
“It’s very precious for her to be on this whole Mulan trip,” Wen said. “Mulan is very special to me. She loves being classic and she continues to inspire the next generation.
There are 16 episodes of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”. New ones will be released on Disney + every Friday.
