Gabby Duran and the Undecided Star Nathan Lovejoy celebrated the show’s second season finale last night by sharing a number of behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram account, but fans who flipped through them and read the caption were disappointed to learn that the Disney Channel animated series will not be returning for a third release. In a heartfelt message, Lovejoy thanked his co-stars, the show’s producers and Elise Allen, whose book inspired the show. In addition to Lovejoy, the series starred Kylie Cantrall as Gabby, alongside Maxwell Acee Donovan, Callan Farris, Coco Christo and Valery Ortiz.
Lovejoy played the main Swift, an alien posing as a human who started the original plot when he asked Gabby to babysit alien children. The Cantrall star has just released a new single, so while she’s been active on social media this week, she hasn’t said anything about it yet. Gabby Duran that we could find.

As you can probably see above, the series centers around the titular Gabby Duran and her alien charges. On the show, Gabby spent most of her childhood living in the shadow of her successful mother and sister, before finally finding her place when this incredibly strange thing happened to her. It originally premiered in October 2019 and ran for 39 episodes over its two seasons on the air. It might have been easy for some to see the cancellation coming, since the second season was actually the green light before the first season aired, so making it to the final without a word was probably never going to be. a good sign.
