Power Rangers: Dino Fury Season 2 will drop exclusively on Netflix, after the streaming service acquired the distribution rights for the show.
Netflix has acquired the rights to Power Rangers: Dino Fury season 2, and will serve as the exclusive broadcast home for the children’s action series for the foreseeable future. Power rangers, an American-Japanese entertainment franchise based on the Super Sentai, and produced by Saban Entertainment, has been a phenomenon in children’s television and marketing since its beginnings in the 1990s. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993, the show reinvented itself several times over 29 seasons of children’s television under 26 different names. Become an iconic part of pop culture, the ever popular Bandai action figures based on the shows had already earned $ 6 billion in sales by the dawn of the 2000s.
The last Power rangers business, Dino fury, follows a brand new team of multi-colored Power Rangers, fueled by the power of prehistoric dinosaurs as they battle an alien army threatening the world. Among the new rangers is an alien knight known as Zayto and a brand new golden ranger named Aiyon, both from the planet Rafkon. They are joined by Amelia the Pink Ranger, Ollie the Blue Ranger, Izzy the Green Ranger and Javi the Black Ranger. The new Power Rangers team are forced to act when the evil Void Knight frees the once-imprisoned ancient Sporix race.
Deadline reports that, prior to the show’s second season, Netflix acquired the rights to the show from Hasbro and Entertainment One for distribution in the United States. Power rangers as a franchise has changed hands several times over the years, starting its life on Fox Kids. Dino fury Season 1 recently aired on Nickelodeon in February 2021, while Netflix won the show for a second online viewing. Now, following an agreement between the streaming platform and the show’s developers, Netflix will be the show’s new home.
Power Rangers: Dino Fury Season 2 will see Zayto, Ollie, Izzy, Javi, Amelia, and Aiyon all reunited with new zords and mega-zords, all new weapons and power-ups, and all new vehicles, including the Dino Fury Cycle. The season should further explore Zayto and Aiyon’s home planet, Rafkon, as well as reveal the fate of the Void Knight.
Netflix adds Power rangers to its ever-growing library of exclusive children’s content, which includes the My little Pony and The boss baby franchises as well as a multitude of original content perfect for demographics. The Power Rangers are coming back to screens soon, because Power Rangers: Dino Fury Season 2 is slated to air exclusively on Netflix in Spring 2022, giving audiences plenty of time to catch up before the new season begins.
