We finally got some early signs of box office normalcy as Fall approached, with headlines like Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings, Venom: let there be carnage, No time to die, and Halloween kills racking up solid returns, but the holiday movie season has so much more to look forward to. We have exciting new films from Guillermo del Toro (Alley of nightmares), Steven Spielberg (West Side Story) and Joel Coen (Macbeth’s tragedy); big hit action in Eternals, Spider-Man: No Path Home, and The king’s man; thrills in Ghostbusters: the afterlife and Matrix resurrections; remarkable biopics like king richard, Being the Ricardos, and American Underdog; and, of course, lots of fun for the kids Encanto, Clifford the big red dog, and Sing 2.
